15 Minutes with the Bishop: Permanent diaconate
In this week’s episode, Bishop Patrick Dunn and Gavin talk about the permanent diaconate, a ministry in the Church and part of the sacrament of Holy Orders. The diaconate has its roots in Scripture, but has not been in constant use. It has experienced a resurgence in the past 40 years, including in New Zealand.

Ignition: Talk 3, Part 3
In this week’s episode, we conclude Bishop Anthony Fisher’s address for the 2007 NZ Catholic Lecture entitled “Catholic Conscience in the 21st Century”. At that time, Bishop Fisher was preparing for World Youth Day in Sydney the following year, as he mentions in his talk. Bishop Fisher is now Bishop of Parramatta. We’ll start the serialisation of a new talk next Monday.
